In this role, you will play a key part in the Bridges to Employing Youth Program, which aims to help out-of-school pregnant and parenting youth (ages 16-24) overcome barriers to employment. As the Bilingual Program Coordinator, your primary goal will be to support participant engagement in pre-vocational, vocational, and educational services, ensuring that each individual receives tailored guidance and opportunities through Individualized Service Strategy Plans (ISSP).
In addition, you will be responsible for facilitating individual and group programming designed to increase access to vital resources, enhance self-advocacy, and build financial stability. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a diverse group of participants, while contributing to their personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruitment efforts and respond professionally to potential program participants.
- Facilitate pre-vocational programs for pregnant and parenting youth (ages 16-24).
- Create and implement Individualized Service Strategy Plans to guide participants toward their goals, including internships, educational programs, and vocational training.
- Maintain strong relationships with community organizations, funding partners (such as the Department of Labor), and local agencies.
- Utilize Electronic Health Records and partner databases to track participant progress and maintain accurate program documentation.
- Lead communication with participants and partners through both written and verbal correspondence.
- Supervise volunteers and program assistants to ensure effective program delivery.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Case Management, Public Health, Benefits Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience in youth development or engagement, particularly with underserved, multicultural, and multilingual populations.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead group educational sessions.
- Ability to collaborate with community organizations and partners.
- Commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusivity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record Systems.
- Available to work a variety of hours, including evenings.
Salary : $25 - $26
