Bus Driver

Description

The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is currently seeking a reliable, friendly, and energetic part-time Bus Driver to safely transport our youth participants to and from program sites and outdoor activities. As a Bus Driver at the Y, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in our care while fostering a positive, respectful environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the school bus to transport children to and from YMCA program sites and activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized vehicle.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transportation.
• Set a positive example for children, parents, and co-workers by upholding the YMCA’s core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Faith.
• Provide excellent customer service to children, parents, and staff.

Compensation:

• $23-25 per hour

*$300.00 sign-on bonus (contingencies apply)

Requirements

 Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a bus driver.
• Must have a valid CDL (Class B) and a clean driving record.
• Must be available to work Monday–Friday from 6:45 AM to 8:45 AM and 2:15 PM to 4:00 PM during the school year; Monday–Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM during the summer months. MUST BE RELIABLE

Salary : $23 - $25
