The Raritan Bay Area YMCA – Center for Support, Prosperity & Success is seeking a full-time Housing & Medicaid Integration Specialist.

The Raritan Bay Area YMCA's Center for Support, Prosperity & Success provides holistic support for individuals and families facing crisis or homelessness, addressing medical, social, emotional, and housing needs.
In this exciting role, the Housing & Medicaid Integration Specialist be instrumental in the development and implementation of Medicaid Housing Support Services, ensuring that individuals from all backgrounds have access to the housing and resources they need. The Housing & Medicaid Integration Specialist will work closely with various community programs, healthcare providers, and Medicaid billing systems to create seamless services that make a real difference in people’s lives.
As part of our collaborative team, the Housing & Medicaid Integration Specialist will help integrate housing and healthcare systems while also playing a key role in the implementation and maintenance of Electronic Health Records (EHR). The Housing & Medicaid Integration Specialist will be at the forefront of fostering inclusivity through workshops, educational events, and personalized guidance that helps individuals and families navigate housing, Medicaid, and other social services.

Essential Functions:
- Drive Impact: Develop and implement strategies to integrate Medicaid Housing Support Services, ensuring all individuals, no matter their background, have access to the services they need.
- Collaborative Approach: Partner with community programs, healthcare providers, and social services to address the housing needs of individuals and families, from pre-tenancy through tenancy.
- Tech Savvy: Oversee and optimize the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system for accurate documentation and seamless communication across services.
- Advocate for Equity: Facilitate inclusive meetings, educational workshops, and events that promote housing resources, Medicaid benefits, and social wellbeing for underserved populations.
- Ensure Compliance: Develop and review policies and best practices for Medicaid service integration, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Quality Focused: Monitor and assess program effectiveness, providing regular updates and implementing quality assurance to meet the diverse needs of the community.
- Credentialing & Billing: Ensure that all Medicaid billing and credentialing with Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) are up-to-date and compliant.
- Champion Clients: Advocate for equitable access to healthcare and housing services, offering personalized support to clients in navigating systems and achieving stability.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring all expenditures remain within approved guidelines.
This is a full-time exempt position with a schedule of 40-hours/week. While basic hours are 9-5:30PM, must be flexible for evening, early morning and/or weekend events and/or issues. 1/2-hour unpaid lunch each day.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Social Services, or a related field, or 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of Medicaid systems, housing support programs, and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Proven ability to collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
- Commitment to promoting community, culture and engagment.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead workshops and educational sessions.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
