The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is currently accepting applications for part time, Site Coordinators for our B3 Middle School Program. The B3 Program is a grant-funded initiative that serves students in grades 5 through 9 at three school sites, and is supported by the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Program.

Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Site Coordinator is responsible for organizing and delivering high-quality YMCA programs and activities for middle school participants and the community. Additionally, the Site Coordinator ensures that the afterschool program maintains a safe and nurturing environment by overseeing the adherence to all safety procedures and ensuring continuous compliance with state licensing requirements.

Essential Duties Include:
- Assist staff in the development and implementation of program clubs and lesson plans.
- Ensure the program and staff adheres to NJDOE requirements and regulations.
- Lead recruitment and retention efforts at school sites.
- Assist and participant in organizing and scheduling of program registration events and initiatives.
- Supervise, train, coach, and assist in the development of program staff and volunteers.
Requirements
- Be 21yrs of age.
- Bachelor's degree; 2 to 4 years of related experience, or proven performance working in an education-based program.
- Knowledge of teamwork, parent involvement, and problem solving.
- Ability to work afterschool hours; reliable; punctual.
- Ability to supervise, negotiate, and manage interactions with participants, parents, employees, department heads, and vendors when necessary.
Hours: Monday thru Friday, 2:40pm to 5:40pm.
Pay: $35 to $38 per hour.
