What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Facilitator position at Young Money Finances?
Young Money Finances is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to deliver our financial literacy curriculum to students, young adults, and families. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in teaching and a commitment to empowering youth with essential financial knowledge. Facilitators will be selected based on experience working with youth, general understanding of financial management/literacy and availability.
Summer Camp will run June 9th - June 27th (Monday - Friday) - Times are TBD. On the job training will also be provided (Dates will be announced at a later date).

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive financial literacy lessons to students and young adults, based on Young Money Finances' curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit various learning styles and age groups, ensuring all participants understand and retain key concepts.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, supportive, and dynamic learning environment.
- Follow the YMF Way and align with our mission.
- Encourage participation and discussion among students to enhance understanding of financial concepts.
- Represent Young Money Finances professionally in all interactions with students, parents, and community partners.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive and productive atmosphere.
- Participate in trainings and team-building opportunities
- Assist in other activities/duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- A passion for financial education, youth and family development.
- Experience teaching, tutoring, or facilitating group learning sessions, particularly with young adults or students (preferred).
- Must have access to a reliable, high-performance laptop suitable for creative work and presentations.
- Adaptability with being able to adjust presentations and content to the need of the room/program participants
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate timeliness for the preset work schedule and class rotation.
Salary : $1,090 - $2,900
