What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT HELP DESK SUPPORT position at Young Morphis Bach & Taylor, LLP?
Our Help Desk Support position works directly with the Operations Manager/IT Director.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, solving problems, and helping others.
Information technology and/or law office experience will be beneficial to this position in providing technical assistance and supporting users within the organization.
Professional experience is a plus, yet we are willing to train the right candidate.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist local users with resolving computer hardware, software, and voice communication/connectivity issues
- Assist with setting up new users and the installation of new software.
- Assist with setting up virtual and conference room meetings.
- Document incidents and their resolutions to create a viable knowledge database.
- Assist with staff training.
- Assist with file management and archiving data.
- Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data.
- Project work as necessary.
- Assist the Operations Manager/IT Director as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Experienced with Adobe Acrobat Standard and Professional.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Ability to support Dropbox and/or Sharefile Data Rooms .
- Knowledge in DMS, specifically iManage Cloud-Document and Email Management.
- Required experience with Window 11.
- Proficient in resolving routine and basic issues related to the maintenance and configuration of computers, peripheral devices, and office equipment.
- Strong people skills and a calm demeanor is required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Ability to multi-task in a busy work environment and learn new applications quickly.
- A highly professional demeanor, with a proven track record of work ethic and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A willingness to take on extra tasks and responsibilities in order to meet client/firm needs.
