Accounts Receivable/Billing Processor Assistant - Part time

Young Plumbing & Heating will soon have an opening for a part-time (anticipating between 16 and 20 hours per week) Accounts Receivable/Billing Processor Assistant. This position will assist our current office team with a diverse range of office functions. In addition to serving as one of our primary Accounts Receivable Processors, the person in this position will help enter inventory spreadsheets and purchase orders into our accounting system and may get involved in other tasks that help keep office activities moving efficiently, such as AR statements and collections assistance. Candidates will need to be a team player willing to work well with co-workers and customers, be well organized with an attention to detail, and have a strong desire to learn continuously. This is a part-time position, with anticipated work hours of 16 to 20 hours per week spread over four or five days each week. While we are looking for a consistent work schedule for this position, the exact work days and work hours of this schedule would be negotiable at hiring.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

--help process accounts receivable inputs. All incoming receivables get processed by being matched to outstanding account balances and then get entered into our accounting software.

--produce AR monthly statements and assist with AR collections

--assist with data entry for inventory and purchase orders

--maintain organized files to allow for consistent records

--assist other office staff to help balance workloads during the week, including working with the service, accounting, and estimating departments. Young Plumbing and Heating strives to have a collaborative office team that is eager and able to help each other succeed.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
