After School Drawing Instructor for our AFTER-SCHOOL LEARN TO DRAW CLASSES at local elementary schools!

Schedule :
Part-Time Hours : 4-6 hours / week, typically during after-school hours (2pm-5pm), with some variation during summer camps.Training Meetings : Attend monthly evening staff meetings.Responsibilities :
Teaching : Lead "Learn to Draw" classes for children (ages 5-12) at local elementary schools and summer camps. You will use Young Rembrandts methodology and curriculum to guide students in drawing fundamentals.Classroom Management : Maintain an organized and engaging learning environment, managing up to 20 students. Encourage positive behavior and guide students through lessons.Communication : Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills. Maintain accurate records (attendance, rosters, etc.), and be comfortable using technology for scheduling and communication (Dropbox, Google Docs, etc.).Collaboration : Work with other instructors and staff, valuing teamwork, and attend monthly staff training meetings.Requirements :
Passion for Teaching : A love for working with children, motivating them, and fostering creativity.Experience working with elementary school-aged children!Adaptability : Flexibility to adjust teaching methods based on the needs of individual students.Physical Capabilities : Ability to handle a supply cart (up to 40 lbs.), carry it up stairs if necessary, and stand / walk for up to 90 minutes during classes.Technology Usage : Comfortable using a mobile phone for scheduling and communication, Google, websites and applicationsIdeal candidates are 18 years of age or olderAvailable during after-school hours (2 : 00 - 5 : 00 p.m.) at least TWO - THREE days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Needed! Must be available for once per month evening pre-scheduled staff meetings as well!)Reliable transportation / valid driver's license / current auto insuranceThe role requires a combination of creativity, patience, and strong organizational skills, making it ideal for individuals who are passionate about art and working with children in an educational environment.
