Children's Art Teacher

job for retirees, college students, or current teachers to teach right at your school right after school! Young Rembrandts SW Houston is looking for LIGHT Part-Time instructors (4 to 10 hours per week) who are available between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm on weekdays.

Young Rembrandts provides a step-by-step process to teach children basic drawing techniques. The curriculum encourages imagination while improving motor skills, patience, focus, and ability to stay on task.

Young Rembrandts SW Houston is seeking candidates who have experience working with children and have a natural ability to motivate and guide children in a group or classroom setting. Lesson plans are already provided along with supplies and materials. You do not have to be a certified teacher or trained artist, as we will train you in the Young Rembrandts teaching techniques.

Instructors teach one-hour art classes to students (K-6th grade) at designated elementary schools throughout Fort Bend, Alvin, SW Houston, Fulshear, parts of Katy, Pearland and more. Our goal is to place teachers within a few miles of the schools they will be servicing. However, needs may arise to fill-in/backup for other territories.

No teaching certificate or teaching experience is required. Art background and classroom management skills are preferred

We provide the training, supplies, curriculum & support. You supply the fun!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
