What are the responsibilities and job description for the Love Art and Working with Kids? Eastside Locations position at Young Rembrandts?
Young Rembrandts is seeking RESPONSIBLE, mature and energetic teachers / instructors for afterschool art enrichment classes and bring more art to your community, 2-3 afternoons, starting at about 3 p.m. and totaling about 4-6 hours per week.
We have classes available on the Eastside of town. Location is important since it is a VERY limited hours.
Qualifications:
· Experience working with children in a classroom setting (6-20 children).
· The ability to motivate and manage groups of children while teaching our planned drawing curriculum.
· A love for art and the ability to embrace the Young Rembrandts method of teaching drawing.
· Dependability and reliability
· Available from approximately 2-5 p.m. on the days you teach. Classes are available on M, T, W, Th, or F afternoons and you will be assigned to teach on 2-3 of those afternoons, working about 2 hours each day you are assigned.
Requirements:
· Your own reliable transportation
· Valid Driver’s License
· Proof of auto insurance
· COVID-19 Vaccine
· Mask-wearing indoors
Benefits and Pay:
· $12.50 - $14 per hour
· We will train you to teach the Young Rembrandts’ method
· We will provide you with the Young Rembrandts’ and all the materials you need to teach class.
