We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. This position involves overseeing the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of sheet metal components used in HVAC systems, ductwork, and other applications. The Lead Sheet Metal Mechanic will supervise a team, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and supervise a team of sheet metal workers, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and job requirements.
• Inspect and troubleshoot sheet metal installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as shears, brakes, and CNC machines for sheet metal fabrication.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to complete jobs efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and team progress.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements, material selections, and job efficiencies.
• Manage job site logistics, ensuring materials and tools are available as needed.
• Handle emergency repairs and modifications as required.
