AP Spanish Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and effective learning environment for students to develop their Spanish language skills. Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
• Teach Spanish language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening through interactive activities and assessments.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
• Collaborate with fellow educators in education administration tasks and participate in faculty meetings.
• Engage in copy editing and proofreading of educational materials to ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Utilize journalism skills to create informative newsletters or updates for parents regarding classroom activities and student achievements.
• Maintain organized records of student performance and attendance, ensuring compliance with school policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in writing and editing educational content with attention to style guidelines.
• Familiarity with standardized testing practices is advantageous.
• A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students in their language learning journey.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
