Summary
We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at Young Scholars Academy. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Your contributions will help shape the educational experiences that promote school readiness and personal growth. We have various positions available for multiple age groups from spring to summer positions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning and development.
- Manage classroom activities to create a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those on the autism spectrum or with disabilities.
- Encourage positive behavior through effective behavior management strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. (Lead Qualified)
- Proven experience in preschool or early childhood settings is highly desirable. (Required for any position.)
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners.
- Compassionate approach towards working with children of varying abilities.

Pay: $14.80 - $18.00 per hour
