We’re seeking a positive and upbeat experienced dental assistant to enhance office efficiency and patient experience. You’ll provide excellent customer service, support the dentist with administrative and basic dental tasks, and ensure smooth office procedures. Ideal candidates will be well-organized, detail-oriented, and adept at both direct and indirect patient care while adhering to office regulations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients to the dental office.
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort.
- Set up and sterilize instruments, equipment, and materials.
- Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry.
- Perform laboratory tasks as directed.
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental room.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records.
- Assist with accurate patient records.
Skills
- Proven experience as a dental assistant.
- Proficient in dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- Knowledgeable in health and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform non-surgical tasks, such as coronal polishing, is a plus.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and well-organized.
- Reliable and professional.
- High school diploma required; dental assistant school graduation required additional certifications or training (e.g., EFDA) are an asset.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
