What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restorative Justice Coordinator position at YOUNG WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN, INC?
Direct Services
- Develop and carry out a school-wide restorative justice implementation plan in collaboration with school-based team, YWCA team and district staff.
- Deepen restorative beliefs and values among adults through providing professional development in Racial and Restorative Justice and job-embedded support to school staff.
- Deliver YWCA Restorative Justice Class and Club Curriculum to
- Work within assigned partner schools to coordinate and establish universal and targeted systems to support restorative justice practices including Restorative Justice Circles for community-building and problem-solving, Restorative Conversations, and more.
Data management
- Monitor and document progress toward implementation
- Participate in data collection and program evaluation utilizing Microsoft Excel or designated software platform.
- Ensure all data is tracked and input in a timely
- Support the Restorative Justice in Education Manager in grant writing and
Collaboration
- Sustain an ongoing multi-year commitment acknowledging the personal, collective and countercultural nature of this work
- Build and maintain healthy relationships with all partners, internal and external
- Collaborate with YWCA Southeast Wisconsin staff and partners to cultivate restorative justice beliefs, values and practices within the YWCA
- Build relationships and collaborate with external partners in a professional, effective, and mission-focused manner.
- Represent the YWCA Southeast Wisconsin in appropriate community collaborations and
- Engage in ongoing professional learning and unlearning as well as personal reflection and growth
- Participate in staff meetings
