YOUR IMPACT AS AN FRONT DESK NAVIGATOR
As a 3rd Shift Receptionist / Front Desk Navigator at the YWCA of Greater Cleveland, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming environment for all visitors. Your days will be filled with greeting and logging all individuals with courtesy and grace, answering phones promptly and professionally, managing mail and deliveries efficiently, and providing essential support to tenants. Your empathy and problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you help handle emergencies and complete incident reports when needed. With your organizational abilities and friendly demeanor, you will be the key to maintaining a positive atmosphere and providing vital assistance to those in need.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A FRONT DESK NAVIGATOR
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED along with at least 2 years of experience in receptionist, clerical, or secretarial work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet research is essential for handling various administrative tasks efficiently. Additionally, experience with closed-circuit cameras, alarm systems, and phone systems would be advantageous in this position. The ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and remain calm under pressure is crucial for success in this role.
A keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a friendly, customer-oriented attitude are also key attributes that will help you thrive in this dynamic and fulfilling position.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
