Job Description
Objective : NBHS seeks a Fall Visual Instructor to teach and inspire our students. Through strong teamwork, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills, this candidate will foster a positive environment for all participants.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with leading the summer Marching Band Camp and Fall Season
- Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement
- Support the musical development of the winds sections / ensembles as directed by the Lead Winds Instructor and Band Director
- Implement all musical techniques needed by members of the brass and woodwind sections
- Implement the visual techniques in collaboration with the Lead Visual Instructor
- Maintain, secure, and setup equipment and materials for rehearsals and performances
- Establish a positive rapport with students and families
- Participate in concerts, marching band competitions, football games, parades, and other community events as needed throughout the school year
- Flexible schedule including working holidays
- Such other responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned by the Principal or Director of Fine Arts
