Responsibilities:
A partial list of duties and responsibilities includes:
- Interact with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather layout and structural requirements and designs.
- Calculate dimensions, slope, and unit quantities of materials.
- Detail designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software, with an emphasis on using Revit
- Draw flow diagrams and layouts to illustrate working and preliminary plans.
- Identify potential operational issues and offer ideas to improve functionality.
- Check own work for accuracy and quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software required and Revit experience preferred.
- Good math skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and willingness to work overtime as required.
- BS in Engineering, Architecture, or degree from a technical college.
- Pre-employment, post-offer drug screen required.
