Controller

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our team. The Controller will oversee all financial aspects of the organization and play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Duties:
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CMA preferred
- 5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with creating financial statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

Skills:
- Strong background in accounting
- Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Familiarity with Sage 300 software is a plus
- Knowledge of Payroll procedures
- Understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards
- Previous experience in Corporate Accounting or Public Accounting is beneficial
