Job Summary:
- This role will manage strategy and operations of the ecommerce platform and site. This individual will manage system roadmaps, feature backlogs and enhancements, play a critical role in driving the success of the ecommerce platform, and aid in delivering a valuable customer experience.
- Ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands on approach capable of balancing creative and technical management.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ecommerce Manager to oversee and manage the operations and strategy of our B2B Ecommerce Platform.
- Ecommerce Manager will play a critical role driving the success of The Shop as an B2B ecommerce sales platform and delivering a valuable customer experience.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with overall business objectives
- Define and deliver technology solutions including architecture, strategy, and operations, working with internal teams and vendors to meet customer needs.
- Own overall project delivery, ensuring successful project execution that meets scope, timing, and cost goals.
- Lead requirements gathering and analysis sessions to define use cases, project specifications and technology roadmaps.
- Take part in Functional Design Walkthroughs and determine the technical feasibility of solutions.
- Define and manage work plans, establishing supporting teams, work cadence, and quality assurance routines.
- Oversee prioritization, development, and deployment activities, applying methodologies and aligning with IT processes and controls.
- Oversee the functionality, design, and performance of the e-commerce website and ensure it meets technical, and user experience standards.
- Lead website migrations, integrations, and upgrades, ensuring scalability and reliability including integrations with payment gateway, SSO and such.
- Lead incident response process, escalation, and communication strategy for production issues.
- Lead meetings with project stakeholders, providing technical insight to overall roadmap feasibility.
- Partner with the marketing team to execute campaigns across email, social media, SEO, and affiliate marketing channels.

- Automotive Digital Retail functional domain expertise.
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
- Multi-disciplined IT experience (10 years).
- Management and delivery of eCommerce projects, 7 years.
- Team lead role managing IT projects from discovery through delivery (3 years).
- Automotive Digital Retailing experience preferred.
- Standard software development methodologies such as Agile (5 years).
- Experience with scoping, planning, and driving technology development initiatives.
- Experience establishing and running system operational support processes
- Experience with Drupal Commerce/Shopify B2B etc. is necessary
