COMPREHENSIVE JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Production Manager – Austintown Store
REPORT TO: District Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the processing and production of donated goods. This role ensures that all donated items are sorted, processed, and prepared for sale efficiently and effectively, meeting quality standards and production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Production Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the donated goods processing area, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to production schedules, and providing excellent customer service to our donors.
Quality Control
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all processed goods meet the organization's standards and pricing guidelines.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and motivate production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
Safety Compliance
- Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and organizational policies.
Reporting
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as output, quality, and efficiency.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE/LICENSE REQUIRED
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. College and/or Vocational Education is a plus. Previous experience in a supervisory role is required.
HOURS WORKED
Employee will normally work full-time, forty (40) hours per week.
NUMBER OF DAYS WORKED
May vary, but normally five days per week.
