Parts Puller

Youngstown Auto Wrecking a division of NIKI D’ATRI ENTERPRISES INC., is currently looking to fill the role of a Parts Puller in Youngstown, Ohio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Must have own tools!!!!!
• Be ready to work and have the yard vehicle ready
• Keep chirper charged in order to communicate with Production and Sales Teams
• Inspect, clean, and test (to the best of your ability) all parts.
• Advise should a problem develop to delay the removal of a part.
• Maintain yard and rack areas in an orderly manner.
• Remove items/parts from the driving lanes that can cause damage
• Keep yard vehicles in good working order and free of previously pulled parts or scrap.
• Keep all equipment in good working order and report any conditions that may cause equipment to not function properly or safely.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to perform in high-traffic/volume situations.
• Ability to work independently and maintain reliable attendance, work performance, and safety standards.
• Ability to function in a team environment, prioritizing organizational and team goals.
• Ability to go outside in all weather conditions to verify parts.
• Must come to work fully prepared to begin at total capacity every morning.
• Work pressure can be substantial during peak times, requiring considerable adaptability.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED – Must be18 years of age
• 6 months of auto mechanic experience
• Previous salvage yard experience a plus
• Able to safely operate a forklift
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 lbs.
• Able to stand, walk, climb, stoop, bend, twist, and reach above the shoulders
