What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer School Counselor position at Youngstown City School District?
YCSD is looking for a licensed school counselor for the summer school program. This person should have experience working with high school credit recovery and ProgressBook for data and grade entry and the state testing system. Must hold a valid school counselor license.
School Counselor Pay: $26.55/hour
Days of the Week: Monday-Friday
Hours: Chaney School 7:45-12:45
School Counselor Duties: Assist to oversee the summer-school program. Monitor progress, communicate with site coordinator, communicate with families, assist teachers as necessary, enter grades when courses are completed, set up and execute summer state testing, maintain compliance with paperwork and any other duties as deemed necessary.
Summer Session will be June 11-July 3rd.
