Position Overview:
As an IT Field Service Technician, you will be the face of our company, providing on-site support and maintenance for our clients' IT systems. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, and ensuring a smooth and efficient IT environment for our clients. This role requires a strong customer service orientation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support to clients, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, such as computers, printers, and network devices.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on client systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate with clients and team members.
- Educate clients on best practices for using and maintaining their IT systems.
- Ensure timely and efficient resolution of client issues, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Field Service Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong documentation skills.
- Reliable transportation is required to travel to client sites.
