We’re seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to help drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and introduce innovative advertising solutions.
Job Overview
The Sales Representative will be responsible for securing new advertisers, re-engaging past clients, and selling bundled advertising packages across our print and digital platforms. This role requires a proactive and strategic sales approach, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to present clear ROI-driven solutions to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Expand Client Base & Sales Outreach
- Identify and research 5-10 new potential advertisers weekly.
- Conduct outreach via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
✅ Modernizing Advertising Sales
- Transition from traditional ad space selling to customized, bundled advertising solutions.
- Introduce digital flipbooks and other interactive formats to potential advertisers.
- Present clear analytics and performance data to demonstrate advertising ROI.
✅ Customized Campaigns & Bundled Packages
- Develop tailored advertising packages that provide multi-platform exposure.
- Offer cross-platform opportunities, including print, digital, video, newsletters, and social media.
- Provide special incentives, such as limited-time discounts or bonus ad placements.
✅ Re-Engage Former Advertisers
- Launch targeted email campaigns to past clients who have not advertised in the last five years.
- Highlight company updates, new digital offerings, and special promotions.
- Offer free digital access trials and schedule meetings to discuss new advertising opportunities.
✅ Follow-Up & Client Retention
- Maintain a structured follow-up process, ensuring consistent client engagement.
- Make 1-2 follow-up calls per week for each priority account.
- Collaborate with marketing to implement email sequences and campaign automation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in media, advertising, or digital marketing.
- Strong ability to sell value-driven solutions rather than one-time ad placements.
- Comfortable with digital tools and platforms (experience with CRM, email marketing, and analytics tools is a plus).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
