What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mailroom Associate position at YoungWilliams Child Support Services?
Summary of Position
The Mailroom Specialist is responsible for a variety of operational functions with an emphasis on processing documents of imaging using OnBase software. This position is also responsible for the maintenance of the file room, which may include filing documents in the paper file, retrieving case files for use by staff and attorneys, maintaining case files in proper filing order, creating case files, and receiving / transferring case files electronically to other child support offices.
Essential Job Requirements
- Logs incoming work
- Sorts, files and distributes work, including electronic files, if applicable
- Reviews incoming documentation / work files
- Scans documents
- Uploads / downloads information to / from systems
- Operates equipment
- Conducts non-routine research
- Consolidates electronic files for output to clients, as applicable
- Balances / reconciles electronic files based on count and value, as applicable
- Transmits electronic files to output destinations, as applicable
- Regular and timely attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education
Equivalent to a high school diploma.
0 - 1 year experience.
Extensive training is provided, experience is not required. Shifts are available M-F between the hours of 7 : 30 am - 5 pm. Paid training.
