Job Summary:
The Account Executive is the “face” to our clients. They contribute to the day to day operational success and directly affect our ability to meet key objectives and deliverables. The Account Executive works closely with the account management team to coordinate the service and placement of employee benefits for clients and will serve as the client’s point of contact for all issues and services related to the account.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Build rapport and business relationships quickly and effectively via face-to-face and phone, social media, blogs, and other opportunities.
- Educate clients on business trends, compliance, products evolution, and company value proposition.
- Establish vendor relationships and develop referral sources.
- Create and communicate multi-year strategy for clients.
- Create and oversee client wellness program strategies.
- Review client team’s RFPs to ensure proper strategy is being executed.
- Conduct client meetings regarding pre-renewal strategy, renewal, open enrollment, and post renewal follow-up.
- Independently resolves client, carrier and/or vendor accounting issues, including coverage questions, collections, discrepancies, fee arrangements and billing issues.
- Works with account management in support of all pre-implementation functions for both new and renewal clients.
- Responsible for the testing and “sign off” of benefit administration system.
- Manages Enrollment process and provides guidance and support to team members by training, coordinating and work distribution.
- Works with account management team in support of all post-implementation functions for both new and renewal clients.
- Responsible for updating CRM with required documents.
- In addition to maintaining, supporting, and renewing current accounts, they will also be collaborating with producers to provide proposals to prospects and managing new client enrollments.
- Perform additional responsibilities and requests as requested.

- Experience in Microsoft Office

- In-person and/or hybrid attendance occasionally required for company, client and/or team meetings
- The Company reserves the right to require in-person attendance at the Company’s worksite at any time. The Company also reserves the right to make full-time attendance at the Company’s worksite an essential job function for this position if attendance becomes necessary to increase productivity, to develop teamwork, to conduct training, to better address customer needs, or to accomplish any other valid business goal. If full-time attendance requirements for this position materially change, the Company will provide thirty (30) days’ prior notice of the change.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
- Core business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but the employee’s schedules are at the discretion of the supervisor and dependent on the needs of the business.
Travel:
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of area and overnight travel may be expected
- Must have a valid driver’s license
