The position includes maintaining employee records, running bi-weekly, multi-state payroll, processing 401k contributions, tax deposits and garnishments, as well as preparation of quarterly / annual payroll taxes. Duties include but are not limited to the following :
- Maintain employee records
- Enter and verify computer generated time cards
- Calculate manual time cards
- Process bi-weekly, multi-state payrolls
- Process tax deposits, 401k contributions and garnishments
- Process quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
- Post payroll in computer and manually on ledger sheets
