Ranch Hand Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Ranch Hand to join our team at the Flathead River Ranch, located near Glacier National Park on 127 acres.
Key Responsibilities
- Deadwood tree removal using chainsaws, pole saws, and shredders, including log stacking
- Mending and maintaining fencing
- Performing general maintenance and upkeep on vehicles, machinery, and equipment
- Grounds maintenance, including lawn mowing, gardening, and flower bed care
- A plus if you have experience operating heavy equipment, tractors, and lawn mowers
- Property maintenance, including building upkeep (staining/painting), roadways, and snow removal
- Cleaning and maintaining the interior of multiple homes, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, polishing stainless steel, straightening furniture, and removing waste
About Our Ranch
The Flathead River Ranch is a beautiful private guest ranch situated in the Whitefish/Kalispell area. As a member of our team, you will work alongside two other individuals and a Ranch Manager on a non-working ranch with no cattle or horses.
