POSITION OVERVIEW (duties include but are not limited to)
- Physician (as appropriate and within scope of practice / privileging) shall be responsible for providing Geriatric care.
- Medical management and treatment for patients admitted to the skilled nursing home for IV antibiotics, rehab, wound care, palliative and hospice care.
- Admissions and Discharges to and from the Community Living Center (CLC).
- CLC Unit Rounds.
- Physician shall follow all established medication policies and procedures.
- No sample medications shall be provided to patients.
- Other duties as assigned.
