Duties
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Manage cash operations and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members by providing personalized service and addressing their banking needs.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding account balances, debits, credits, and other financial services.
- Identify potential fraud risks and implement fraud prevention detection measures during transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth branch operations and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize financial software to manage transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Support new account processes, closed accounts and account maintenance by gathering necessary documentation from customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cash handling or retail math is preferred.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with financial services and banking operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of fraud prevention detection techniques is desirable.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of customer service.
