The Healthcare Credentialing Specialist/ Recruiter will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies for both high volume and hard-to-fill roles, screening, scheduling, and conducting candidate interviews, salary negotiations, extending offers and coordinating the on-boarding of new hires with client hospitals. The Healthcare Credentialing Specialist Recruiter will ensure time to fill open positions meets or exceeds established timelines, service levels and metrics. In addition, will partner collaboratively with other recruiters, clients, and executive leadership team to understand staffing models and implement recruitment strategies. Candidates should be familiar with standard concepts, best practices and procedure within the healthcare recruitment industry.

Position Details:

Sourcing Candidates: Perform intake meetings with leadership or client representatives and create a sourcing plan including creating attractive postings and advertising. Display a solid understanding of clinical careers and the ability to identify individuals with skill sets needed, ability to identify hard-to-fill positions and work with leadership to create comprehensive sourcing strategy. Ability to create sourcing pools and continually focus on creative sourcing tactics.

Candidate Assessment: Screening - reviewing applicants in an expedited manner from ATS and referrals to assess skill set, general competency and certifications for various roles. Interviewing - understanding of compliance and eligibility policies, ability to assess individual competencies for role, conduct phone, video and/or in-person interviews. Ability to offer an overview of benefits and culture of client hospitals. Presentation of candidates - Understand what information is important to pass along to provide hiring managers with information needed to make decisions. Solid understanding of healthcare careers and the ability to discuss pathways and career ladders in healthcare.

Selection/Offer: Ability to communicate offers with a high acceptance rate, follow proper documentation procedures and confirm and finalize hires with clients. Ability to manage negotiations between candidates, leadership and clients. Ability to identify issues and bring in leadership to situations that require more complex management.

Documentation Management: Collect and maintain comprehensive candidate credentialing files, update databases, and ensure timely follow up on all documents outstanding.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
