Your Insurance Attorney, PLLC are seeking an experienced and dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team in Colorado. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Representation: Represent clients in personal injury claims, including cases involving car accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.
- Case Management: Oversee the case lifecycle from initial consultation through settlement or trial, maintaining organized and comprehensive records of each case.
- Legal Research and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough research on case precedents, statutes, and state regulations to build strong legal arguments and case strategies.
- Court Appearances and Litigation: Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as necessary, advocating aggressively on behalf of clients.
- Settlement Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on case developments, explaining complex legal processes, and providing support throughout the case.
- Document Preparation: Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements, with attention to accuracy and compliance with Georgia laws.
- Networking and Business Development: Cultivate relationships with clients, potential clients, and legal professionals to expand the firm’s reach and attract new business.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Colorado State Bar.
- 3 years of experience in personal injury law, with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.
- Strong understanding of Colorado personal injury statutes and civil procedure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly and compassionately to clients.
- Exceptional negotiation and litigation skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Analytical mindset with strong research skills and the ability to develop creative case strategies.
- Proficiency in legal research software and case management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Trial experience in personal injury cases.
- Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are a plus to better serve a diverse clientele.
