Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Caregiver to join our team. Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any changes in condition.
- Take and record vital signs to ensure the health and safety of residents.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, helping them navigate their daily challenges.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document resident progress and any significant changes in behavior or health status.
Requirements
- Previous experience in memory care, senior care, or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and ability to take vital signs.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a group home or assisted living environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
- Certification in First Aid is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Must be able to pass AHCA level 2background check as required by state regulations.
