JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Title:                Director of Generosity Development

Reports to:            Generosity Officer

Location:                Alpharetta, Georgia

 

OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for the Your Move Collective (YMC) high-capacity investor fundraising strategy and execution.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive Vision and Results: Help our investors accomplish their philanthropic goals and ambitions through a relationship with our organization by casting vision, expressing gratitude, and ensuring alignment with YMC's mission and impact.
  • Manage Major Gifts Portfolio: Oversee a portfolio of up to 150 high-capacity investors, executing targeted strategies to secure significant gifts that drive 25 percent year-over-year (YOY) income growth in the first 12 months.
  • New Investor Acquisition: Develop and implement targeted strategies for new investor acquisition, driving 30 percent YOY growth in new investors to YMC by identifying, cultivating, and converting high-potential prospects into committed major investors.
  • Strategic Communication: Engage investors through in-person meetings with high attention to detail, develop targeted communications, and conduct strategic follow-ups, ensuring every major investor has a clear pathway to sustained generosity.
  • Income Tracking and Reporting: Develop and manage income projections, tracking progress against goals and reporting on key metrics such as contacts, gifts, and pledges.
  • Investor Recognition and Impact: Implement a recognition strategy that clearly connects investor generosity with transformative outcomes, ensuring investors see the impact of their contributions.
  • Event Strategy and Execution: Design and execute high-impact events that engage and inspire major investors and prospects, aligning them more closely with YMC’s mission.
  • Other: Execute other duties as required to meet and exceed organizational fundraising goals.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Organization Engagement: Actively involved in a North Point Ministries church in the Atlanta area or a partner church within the Irresistible Church Network.
  • Commitment to Mission: A mature follower of Jesus, deeply committed to knowing God and making him known.
  • Results-Driven Relationship Building: Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships, with a focus on results while caring for investors personally.
  • Strategic Problem-Solving: A collaborative and innovative thinker who develops and implements effective investor engagement strategies.
  • Project Management Excellence: Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects independently and within a team, ensuring goals are met on time and to a high standard and documented thoroughly.
  • Proactive Outreach: A self-starter with a track record of initiating and closing significant funding opportunities, with strong follow-through on tasks and goals.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both in writing and in person, to build and sustain investor relationships.
  • Experience: Five–ten years of business experience in sales and/or leadership, with a proven ability to meet and exceed assigned targets.
  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree or beyond.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Salary: Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability insurance, and retirement plan with company match
  • Paid Time Off: Two weeks, increasing with tenure One week to serve other ministries 
  • Relocation: Negotiable
  • Travel: Up to 30 percent
