Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Order Analyst who is detail-oriented and analytically-minded to join our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Order Desk Team including Lead Analyst and Order Processors to fulfill customer orders.
- Examine orders, and determine the best prices according to a number of factors including base cost, tax, shipping, competition, velocity, and sales history.
- Make daily purchasing decisions, while also keeping track of larger market trends, availability of, and demand for particular products.
- Communicate with suppliers and distributors about pricing and payment for items.
Extensive training and on-boarding will be provided to ensure your comfort and success. Benefits include paid holidays and an employer matching retirement plan. Hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday with some flexibility and the possibility of additional hours during peak sale seasons.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Strong aptitude for and interest in math
- Basic computer competency
- Attention to detail and self-motivation
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Willingness to learn new computer programs and systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Previous experience in e-commerce, retail, or sales
- Completed coursework in math, accounting, or business
