Doggie Daycare Animal Attendant

WORKING 2-4 DAYS A WEEK from 7 am to 6:00 pm, some days until 7 pm closing

MUST BE PUNCTUAL FOR WORK

POSITION IS SEASONAL (Spring through the end of Summer - September ) - could turn into permanent

MUST LIVE CLOSE TO 33133 area code (no more than 20 - 25 minutes away from Coconut Grove)

MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT AT LEAST 50 POUNDS

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OUTSIDE/INSIDE WITH DOGS

MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH ALL BREEDS

MUST BE ATTENTIVE TO DETAIL

MUST HAVE VALID FL DRIVERS LICENSE

MUST HAVE 3 WORK REFERENCES

MUST HAVE CLEAN CRIMINAL RECORD (NO DUIS)

Looking for one person to join our team as one of our amazing staff members is taking a leave of absence for school through the end of summer. However this position can definitely turn into a permanent one. The perfect candidate is someone who is professional, EXTREMELY punctual, reliable, has TEAM work skills, takes great pics for social media, detailed in their work, is attentive to detail, experienced driver, caring, loves animals & hardworking. Job entails caring for animals during doggy daycare & dog boarding. Communicating with clients face to face therefore professional customer service & kindness is important. Must feel comfortable driving in Miami using the company car to pick up and drop off clients (dogs). Must be comfortable taking pictures to send to PAWrents & post on Instagram. Must have a minimum of 1 year experience with caring/handling dogs. This is a fun job spending the day playing, loving & caring with dogs. MUST be able to work weekends & holidays. The day starts at 7 AM prompt & ends at 6:00 PM most days but can be until closing at 7 pm some days. It’s a very vibrant, happy and fun environment. Must be a TEAM player as you’ll be working with 3 other staff members but also take initiative & show leadership skills when necessary. Must have critical thinking skills and have some experience with animal behavior/pet psychology as there will be times you’ll be taking dogs to training classes & dog events. Must be ok with cleaning EXTREMELY WELL as I have OCD & I am very meticulous in order for the dogs to be in a clean space, vacuuming, mopping, washing bowls, washing kennels, picking up poop, doing laundry & resetting rooms is included in this position. Must feel comfortable feeding and administering medication to pets.
