Job Summary:
The Member Service Representative II will process financial transactions, assist members with banking needs, and provide exceptional customer service with accuracy, reporting to the Branch Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding customer service; stay current on SCCCU's products and services; match members with best options for their banking needs while identifying new opportunities; reconcile cash drawer/daily transactions accurately; monitor and maintain cash levels within assigned limits; receive, inspect, and verify cash and negotiable instruments; process various financial transactions; assist members with opening/closing accounts; resolve account-related inquiries/troubleshoot complex situations; ensure adherence to BSA, MIP, and OFAC requirements; complete annual regulatory/lending training; participate in volunteer community events; perform administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a credit union or bank; high school diploma or GED; bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required; proficient MS Office skills; astute attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, time management, problem-solving, and follow-through skills; ability to stand for long periods; valid CA driver's license and clean driving record.
