Overview:
Join our team as a Dog Daycare Attendant and be part of a fun and rewarding environment where you get to spend your days caring for and interacting with dogs.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor dogs in play areas to ensure safe and positive interactions
- Provide basic care such as feeding, watering, and administering medications if needed
- Engage dogs in play activities and provide mental stimulation
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in play areas, including cleaning up waste
- Assist with bathing and grooming of dogs as required
- Interact with pet owners, providing updates on their pets' well-being
- Follow daycare policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all dogs
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess some of the following skills:
- Experience and comfortability with dogs is a must
or in a veterinary industry is a bonus
- Knowledge of dog training techniques is a bonus
- Skills in pet grooming or willingness to learn
- Strong customer service skills for interactions with pet owners
- Ability to handle animals safely and with care
- Previous experience in pet care or handling animals
- Capability for heavy lifting when necessary
- Familiarity with kennel operations and dog handling techniques

Pay: $17.50 - $22.00 per hour
