- This role requires being in office full time for the first 3 months for the handover, but then has the flexibility to work hybrid / remotely
- Job Description We are looking for a Sr. Account Manager to drive growth by managing a portfolio of client accounts by providing ongoing service and support related to their employee benefits plans, including identifying needs, recommending suitable coverage, handling renewals, addressing client concerns and maintain strong relationships with both clients and insurance carriers, all while aiming to retain existing business and grow new opportunities. Key Responsibilities :
- Client Relationship Management : building and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and client companies Benefit Plan Analysis : analyzing current benefit plans, identifying areas for improvement and recommending optimal coverage options Renewal Process & Open Enrollment : Managing the annual renewal process, including negotiating with insurance carriers; assisting clients with open enrollment activities Claims Management : Addressing client concerns regarding claims issues, working with carriers to resolve disputes Compliance : Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws pertaining to employee benefits Sales Support : Collaborating with sales teams to present proposals to potential clients Skills for Success in this Role : Strong understanding of employee benefits products, including health, dental, vision, life and disability plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and present complex information Analytical skills to assess client needs, develop proposals, and interpret data Proven track record in account management and client retention Requirements : At least 3 years experience in the employee benefits industry or related industries A GED or high school diploma is required; Bachelors degree is a plus Must hold or be willing to earn appropriate insurance license Proficiency in MS Office products
