About Us: We are seeking a motivated Grocery Sales Manager to expand our products presence within both the retail and foodservice sectors. Position Overview:

The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and expanding the presence of our Five Star Brand meat products within the retail and foodservice sector. This role involves strategic planning, sales execution, account management, and close collaboration with our co-packing partners to ensure product availability and quality. The Retail Sales Manager will be the driving force behind introducing our brand to new markets, fostering relationships with retailers, concessionaires, and restaurants, and ensuring our products meet the evolving needs of the end consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a retail sales strategy to increase product distribution and sales volumes in the retail sector, including costing and advertising opportunities.
• Identify and target potential retail accounts, negotiate contracts, and manage ongoing relationships with retail partners.
• Identify and target potential foodservice accounts, negotiate contracts, and manage ongoing relationships with restaurants.
• Work closely ?? to develop promotional strategies and materials tailored to the retail market.
• Coordinate with the internal Hillcrest purchasing agent regarding purchase orders to our co-packers.
• Coordinate with the co-packers to manage inventory levels, order fulfillment, and ensure product quality standards are met.
• Follow daily pork report and create a weekly pricing trend.
• Review weekly prices from Dearborn and translate into pricing trend.
• Manage co-packer costing weekly, update BIDS (internal customer costing system) and communicate costing changes to customers.
• Maintain strategy and manage negotiations of sponsorship relations with local sports teams.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand growth and product development.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
• Represent the company and Five Star Brand at trade shows, industry events, and customer partner meetings.
• Plan advertising calendar with retailers, communicate products slated and timing with Hillcrest purchasing department

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
