Summary
The store manager serves as the team’s quarterback, leading by example and overseeing all business operations. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the products, their functions, and competitive advantages. Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential. Additionally, the manager plays a vital role in building relationships with designers, remodelers, and interior decorators. A solid working knowledge of the Profit & Loss statement and Balance Sheet is necessary, along with the ability to collaborate with investors to drive successful business growth.
Activities:
1. Know in detail all shower hardware and be able to sell, and train employees on features and benefits, installation, and business procedures.
2. Full knowledge of glass products used in shower door applications and able to differentiate advantages over our competitors.
3. Know competitor's strengths and weaknesses and build successful sales presentation.
4. Accurately measure installations and prepare professional proposals.
5. Utilize computer systems to enter orders, manage customer contacts, follow up on inquiries, schedule installations, and place vendor orders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks is required.
6. Conduct bi-weekly investor and staff meetings to review all business activities and align team goals
7. Help develop an effective advertising and promotion program.
8. Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management for both the warehouse and service truck, while ensuring efficient and professional procedures.
9. Lead and direct all sales activities.
10. Manage scheduling for measurements and installations.
11. Track leads through a CRM system, analyze customer visit data, and contribute to advertising plans.
