Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain pressing equipment to press garments and other textiles - Inspect garments for stains, tears, or other damage before pressing - Follow proper pressing techniques to ensure high-quality results - Remove wrinkles and creases from garments using steam or pressing machines - Fold and package pressed garments for delivery or storage - Maintain a clean and organized work area Experience: - Previous experience working as a presser in a dry cleaning or hospitality setting is preferred - Familiarity with operating cash registers and handling cash transactions - Knowledge of basic math skills for measuring and calculating garment dimensions - Strong customer service skills to interact with clients and address any concerns or questions Additional Requirements: - Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks - Attention to detail to ensure garments are properly pressed and free of wrinkles - Physical dexterity to handle delicate fabrics and operate pressing equipment - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
