What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Teacher position at Yours and Mine Learning Academy?
Do you have a passion for nurturing little ones and creating a loving, safe environment for babies to grow and thrive? We’re looking for a dedicated Infant Room Teacher to join our daycare team!
Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm, responsive, and safe environment for infants (ages 6 weeks to 12 months).
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support developmental milestones.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
- Communicate daily with parents about their child’s activities and progress.
- Ensure all licensing and safety standards are met at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (Early Childhood Education coursework preferred).
- Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting.
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain).
- Gentle, patient, and nurturing demeanor.
- Ability to work well with a team and communicate effectively with families.
