We are seeking a driven and experienced SEO Content Manager to lead our talented team of SEO copywriters. You will be the driving force behind our SEO content strategy, responsible for creating and executing content plans that elevate our clients’ online presence and drive measurable results. Responsibilities :
- Content Strategy & Execution
Work closely with the SEO Team to understand and implement SEO strategies, ensuring content aligns with keyword targets and overall campaign objectives.
Translate SEO content plans into well-formatted, polished pieces ready for publication.Stay informed about the latest SEO trends and best practices to ensure content remains effective and relevant.Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance, using data to inform content optimization and future strategies.Collaborate closely with the Director of Content and other marketing teams (e.g., social media, paid media) to ensure cohesive brand messaging and maximize content reach.Team Leadership & ManagementLead, manage, and mentor a team of SEO Copywriters, providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
Directly manage Senior SEO Copywriters, helping them oversee their direct reports, expand their leadership capabilities, and stay organized.Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment that encourages creativity and innovation.Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring optimal workload distribution and timely project completion.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to promote individual and team development.Content Creation & OptimizationOversee the creation of high-quality, SEO-friendly content across various formats (website copy, blog posts, articles, landing pages, etc.)
Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, style guides, and SEO best practices.Provide hands-on content editing and optimization support to the team.Contribute to content creation as needed.Website Content ManagementOversee the optimization of website content for search engines, including on-page optimization, content structure, and internal linking.
Collaborate with web developers and designers to create content timelines and delegate web pages to the SEO Copywriting and Creative Copywriting Teams based on intent.SEO Content SprintsHelp plan and execute focused SEO content sprints targeting specific topics, keywords, or client campaigns.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., client services, SEO) to gather information and ensure content accuracy and alignment.Analyze sprint performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.Professional Competencies :

5 years of experience in SEO content writing and editing.2 years of experience managing a team of writers.Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging content that supports SEO goals.Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including on-page optimization, content structure, and internal linking.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console).Strong project management and organizational skills.Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related field required.
