Summary of Position: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Payment Processor to join our finance team. This role is essential to ensure the accurate processing and recording of incoming payments and managing accounts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payment Processing: Accurately process and record all incoming payments including checks, credit card payments, wire transfers, and electronic funds transfers.
- Accounts Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer accounts by applying payments and reconciling account discrepancies.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements in all financial transactions and documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to support month-end closing activities and provide insights into payment trends.
- Audit Requests: Pull and compile supporting documents for request by auditors
Qualifications/Requirements: Associate's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role with no formal education

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
