Summary of Position: The Direct Support Professional is an hourly, part-time role dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.
- Provide essential face-to-face services in both the home and community, ensuring the health and well-being of individuals.
- Support to help them acquire, maintain, and enhance with self-help, domestic, socialization, and adaptive skills.
Availability: Flexible schedule; potential for hours up to 40 hours per week.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Additional coursework or certification in human services or related fields is a plus.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic Computer knowledge.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage.
