We are seeking a dedicate and compassionate Employment Specialist to join our team at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. As an Employment Specialist, you will make a meaningful impact by providing guidance, support, and resources to individuals as they develop life skills and pursue their employment goals.
Status: Part Time Hourly
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the position:

The Employment Specialist will plan, develop, and implement employment-related services and life skills trainings to support individuals in achieving their goals.
Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field, or
- Bachelor's degree in any field with 1 year of experience, or
- Associates Degree or 60 college credits with 3 years of paid experience working with young adults/and or adults or
- High School Diploma or GED and one year of paid or volunteer experience working with young adults and/or adults.
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance are required.
- Bi-Lingual/Spanish speaking is a plus.
