What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Based Therapist position at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.?
Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Family Based Mental Health Therapist works in a co-therapy team to provide intense, time limited therapy to children and their families. The position holds individual, family, parent, and sibling therapy sessions as well as case management. The children are at risk of placement or need an intensive treatment modality. The position requires 2-3 evenings per week, and crisis intervention as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements: Master’s Degree and experience in therapy, children services, or in a mental health setting. Master’s Degree in counseling, therapy, psychology, social work, sociology, or related field of study.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage.
