What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts position at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.?
Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Licensed Professional of Healing Arts (LPHA) is responsible for providing individual, family, and group counseling to youth with serious emotional disturbances and their families.
- Services provided in a participant’s home or appropriate community setting and may include Psychological Diagnostic Interview Examinations, treatment planning, and counseling in a group, individual, or family setting.
- The Licensed Professional of Healing Arts will deliver services targeting increasing the youth’s natural supports and strengths, fostering resilience and recovery.
- The Licensed Professional of Health Arts is responsible for accurately documenting services, attending Wraparound Team meetings as needed, and communicating participants programs to supervisors, team members, and the referring authority.
- All services delivered in compliance with the Texas Medicaid Provider Procedures Manual, the Texas Resilience and Recovery Utilization Management Guidelines, YAP Standards, and all state and federal regulations governing the delivery of service.
Qualifications/Requirements: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Valid Texas Licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
